Keep, renew and manage your Free Travel

This page helps you find the right information if you already have Free Travel and need to keep it up to date.

Use this topic if you or someone you support:
  • Has a Free Travel card or paper pass that is expiring, lost, stolen or damaged, or
  • Is moving into work or on to a different social welfare payment and wants to know if they can keep Free Travel, or
  • Has been told that Free Travel may stop, that a card or pass must be returned, or wants to ask for a review of a Free Travel decision

Note

This page offers plain language guidance. It is not a legal document. Only the Department of Social Protection (DSP) can make an official decision about a free travel application.
